I think its excellent. You did a superb job. And the shout box was a great edition as well.

Other than having to build back up my post count I have no compaints at all. The place is great... especially the Dark Scheme skin.

I already told you my feelings. It's definitely an improvement over IFB for many reasons but we've still got a lot of work ahead of us to make it greatTM

The Avatar problem I pointed out should be addressed.

You have an avatar. There was never an avatar problem. If you're trying to load an avatar that's too big, it won't go through.

I love it, this forum is much better than the old one.

I enjoy these new forums. Although, I suppose my post count will need re-affirming. No spam, I assure you.

vBB > Invision Power Board in any field.

Other smilies would be nice - but aside of that it's almost perfect.

As we've all said, the place is maxi-kewl.

Thanks for the votes. If anyone would like to give input on what they'd like to see done as improvement, go ahead and post please.

Actually, Lumanix was having an actual avatar problem. He could not access the browse button in order to upload an avatar in the first place, apparently.

I voted 'better than the old forums' even though I never experienced the old forums... hope that's ok? I just think these are great and assumed they must be better, how can they not be?

Anyway, keep up the good work - forum url bookmarked for future use :)

the old forus were IFB. this is much better

Syren

Then you compare them both to my lovely Proboard and we all have a good laugh :)

Lord Sorgo

Lol, your boards aren't that bad. You got good members to keep them alive and kicking.

You're right, a board without its members is like a squeezy tomato ketchup bottle without the hole.

- Frustrating, pointless and headed straight for meltdown.

That's exactly what I hoped you'd say. Exactly :p

You tryin' to impress people? Huh?

The new forums rock because vBulletin is the shit. QED.

Marushia

Well, between the upgrade to VB, the new look, having a domain name all our own, and easier coding capabilities, we're at least a bit farther from meltdown than we were before.

Yeah, true enough.

For some reason this forum seems so much...bigger. Like it's supposed to hold a few thousand members.

Might be the pixels of the skin I'm using. The old board never stretched to fit my widescreen.

More variety in skins would be nice, but no complaints about the ones we do have. They rock. Everything here rocks. Love the arcade.

A few thousand? I think this thing can hold up as much as KMC.

After not reading the rest of this thread or even the first post, I have to say... Love it. A hell of a lot better :)

Lord Sorgo

Indeed.

It's quicker too.

Marushia

We're getting there, slowly put surely. Still so much work left to do. T_T

Lord Sorgo

True that.

Meh, we'll pull through.

I like the new forum well enough. I realize a lot of work went into it and I appreciate that; however, I also know I'm easy to please. So long as there is always a dark/high contrast skin to choose from and a way to make the text bigger (Mozilla PWNs), I'll be content. The fact that you have to click a box to quick reply strikes me as odd, but whatever blows your hair back. If that's the worst of my issues, it's all good.

Note: I didn't vote officially. The first option is a cloaked insult to past forums, which I hold no grudges against and the second option implies I have numerous issues with this one. I don't.

Lord Sorgo

I'm not that easy to please, but this is an awesome forum.

Although I miss the rules when it came to the old EOD.

How about a quick quote option so we dont get taken to the reply to thread page ?

other than that nothing wrong with the forum :D

other than that nothing wrong with the forum :D Click the "quick reply" and you can do that by selecting "quote this message". There is no current vB feature that allows for instantaneous and partial quoting.

Ooh yeah.. didn't notice that..

I need to pay more attention.

I don't care if it's IPB or VB. I just like the new darker color of the forum because well, that's how I am with all my forums.

Anyway, is there anyway to get YouTube video tag like they have on KMC and some other places?

Lord Sorgo
03-01-2008, 01:14 AM
I like IPB and VB equally.
