Welcome to STAR WARS: THE REDEMPTION OF THE ASANI ELITES!

This Roleplay takes place two thousand years before the birth of Anakin Skywalker and two thousand years after the death of Traya.

I am the GM, and the storyline will be completely unknown to you.


FINAL NOTE: THIS ROLEPLAY IS NOW OPEN TO QUESTIONING. IF YOU ASK ME TO JOIN AND SEND ME YOUR CHARACTER SHEET, I'LL PROBABLY LET YOU IN.

Let's start by you becoming a JEDI.

You will be able to play as a Jedi.

Later on, you may have the option of joining the Sith, buying or creating Droids and even buying or creating/maintaining Ships

Roleplaying - Attacking
When you attack, you must not follow through with the attack, but you must ATTEMPT it.

For Example:
Dregan proceeded to attack Yulki's arm using a [precise slash]....
Dregan attempted to attack Nero's Torso using [Fierce cut]....
Dregan tried to attack Sumor's legs initiating a [Force Cripple].....


DO NOT DO THIS:
Dregan killed Tunrus....
Dregan cut off Lemonas' legs....

You may aim for Body parts but you may never EVER actually administer a fully completed attack. I am to make that decision on whether you break through or not.

You may attack once until I post again so make a wise choice.

YOU MUST WAIT FOR ME TO POST!

Once you attack an Enemy, it is his turn to attack.

When you're attacking with a Jedi, you will be using a specific Lightsaber form. With that Form, I will be giving you unique attacks that follow the description of the Form.

How to use your Lightsaber Form, Your Skills and the Force.

When you attempt an attack, you will be either using the Force, your Lightsaber or your skills. When you do use them, you must bracket them properly or the attack may not initiated.

For Example:

Dregan used [Precise Cut] in an attempt to dispatch Kori.

On'Diri utilized [Force Push] and tried to smash Eleri into a nearby wall.

Maekon walked along the barely-stable pipes and used his [Stealth] to try to evade the Sith Assassin.



^ That is how it works.


Multiple Enemies and Multiple attack methods.

When you enter battle and attempt to attack someone and it is successful, there will be a number besides the success sentence that looks like this:

Dregan successfully slashed the Wookiees arm. (x2)


^ That number indicates how many attacks you can make on your next round. If you are given this number, it means you were VERY successful in attacking your opponent and you left him heavily off-guard. The number can reach higher depending on your skill.


When you wish to attack multiple enemies, it gets harder depending on your Form.

If you want to attack more than one, you must use a "Multi-accepted" attack, which I will give you when you create a character.

Using skills.

If you want to attempt to do something using your skills, you need brackets as well.

If you notice you're in a situation where you can use your skills, use brackets and i'll identify it and you'll probably administer the task with efficient success, especially when you start leveling your skills.


Using the Force
When you start out as a Padawan, you may only use the Force TWICE in a battle. As you level up, that number will grow higher.


NPC
If I am playing an NPC that is on your side or that is a higher rank, you may make the choice to do what you please and attack him.

But who says you will kill him?

You will most likely be immediately killed or seriously injured and will have to create a new character.

I control the NPCs, not you. You are not to roleplay the action of an NPC. You may speak to one or attempt to attack it.

You're a born leader, able to lead a group into the strain of a dangerous situation and conquer the opposition purely by leadership and being an example to other Jedi.

[i]You can become one with the shadows; You're able to sneak and hide and creep around buildings and such to pass soldiers. You can dominate and destroy your opponents without them even knowing what hit them.
- Stealing
You're grand at being a thief. Although this can defy the Jedi Code, it may be useful for pickpocketing or even stealing documents or credits.
- Fist Fighting
You're a master with your hands. You can lay down a mean, bone shattering punch that could be heard for miles.
- Acrobatics
Flips, rolls, cartwheels . . . You can fit into small spaces and you're good at dodging projectiles. You're very agile as well. Flexible too.
- Reputation
You're packing a wallop when it comes to rep. People either think you're a heroic Padawan for your accomplishments, or they think you're stained with the darkness of the Sith.
- Intimidation
You have the ability to make people fear you to manipulate them. You can make people look at you as a testament to power itself. This is a useful persuasion technique, but it's against code.
- Languages
You know various languages from Huttese to Bothese. You can speak to all sorts of Aliens and creatures with a fluent tongue. You're a useful translator.
- Medical
You're a certified Medic, able to mend wounds and heal gashes, you're extremely useful in a party.
- Pilot
You can fly a ship like no one else. You're a natural at maneuvering ships and you're quite an asset.
- Ship Engineer
You can fix a ship in a jiffy. You have no problem repairing damaged or abandoned ships. Gain experience, and you will be able to create ships.
- Droid Engineer
You can repair several different types of droids and render them functional with your exceptional repair skills. If you get proficient enough, you may even be able to create droids.
- Droid Specialist
You can create Droid programming and structure their motherboards and circuitry. If an enemy droid is captured, you could go as far as re-programming it to benefit you . . .
- Weaponsman
You can create and/or repair all sorts of Guns, Vibroblades, swords, pistols . . . You have the knack for it. Some high leveled weaponsmans can even create Lightsabers!
- Lockpick
You could pick a lock if your hands were tied behind your back. You can open almost any locked door or handcuff of any kind.
- Demolitions Engineer
Create, deactivate or repair grenades, explosives, mines, thermal detonators, flash detonators . . . The works!
- Hunter
Hunters are able to catch, cook and train wild Creatures. They are proficient killers and are able to tame lots of wild creatures.

This is an offensive maneuver. When you get an opponents guard open, this is used to create a small slice in an opponents body around a critical position on their body, such as an artery or around their chest or face.
- CIRCULAR TWIRL Level 1
This is a distracting manuver. This maneuver consists of you using your Lightsaber to push an opponents weapon in a circular motion to either disarm them or gain time for an attack.

This maneuver is extremely difficult to pull off but is both defensive and offensive and is extremely effective. The point of this maneuver is to lead your opponent on into thinking he has the upper hand by leaning into a defense that makes you get pushed back. Then, you pull a fake and pretend to open your guard. One he strikes, you quickly do an upper slash to the torso.
- THROW-OFF BLOCK
This is a defensive manuver that consists of you blocking an oncoming attack and weakening the block to make the opponent stumble as he applies an attack.
- WIDE SLASH
This is a purely offensive maneuver that consists of you using the entire body of your saber to slash an opponent instead of just the tip. This attack creates long slash marks on opponents, causing great damage.

Character Description: Leron is a large and brutish youth in appearance, but his appearance belies his character; he is a kind man but a fearsome warrior. He joined the council at an older age than most, after losing his family in civil strife, and is finding difficulty in adapting fully to all the conditions imposed by the order. Nevertheless, among the padawans, his strength and muscle earns him note as a formidable duelist.

Lightsaber Skills:
- OFFENSIVE SMASH Level 1
This manuever consists of the Shien User throwing his Lightsaber forward as hard as he can in a quick, yet powerful motion. If it makes contact, it is guarenteed to cause severe damage and it can take off limbs most of the time. If your opponent blocks it, he will be harshly pushed back or will fall to the ground.
- DJEM TRICK Level 1
This maneuver is sneaky and unexpecting. It consists of you swinging your Lightsaber in a decorative fashion and then faking a power swing, only to turn your Lightsaber into the opponent from an opposite direction.
- TORRENT OF STRENGTH Level 1
This maneuver requires extensive skill and patience. This consists of the Shien user stepping forward and unleashing a series of attacks, usually consisting of eight Lightsaber swings to the opponent to either hit him or throw him into a defensive stance. If mastered, this maneuver could possibly be one of the deadliest of all forms.

Lightsaber Skills:
- FORWARD ACROBATIC ATTACK Level 1
This maneuver consists of the user flipping forward with his Lightsaber above his head to attack an opponent. The Lightsaber often lands on the opponents shoulders or head with this attack.
- THE ATARU HOOK Level 1
This is a powerful defensive manuver in which you do a backflip and point your Lightsaber outwards under the opponents weapon. While you backflip, your Lightsaber will "Hook" under your opponents weapon and should disarm him as you flip back away from him.
- BODY SWING
This is a maneuver in which you turn around a full 360 degrees as you swing your Lightsaber, attacking your opponent. This move is risky and can leave you open.

Character Description (OPTIONAL):
Atrum tends to wear dark colors and is somewhat pessimistic. However, he perfers to see it as being realistic. Atrum is generally quite quiet and has few friends. Friends can be driven off by his intense nature, and drive to learn. However, his teachers like him for his broad base of knowledge, and his dedication.
He is also rather arrogant and believes that he knows best. Atrum is also a staunch traditionalist and is very fond of the old force techniques. He views the views new techniques as weak and diluted so they are easier to learn.
Atrum is also very driven to learn, and can spend lots of time in the library. This has led to him being merely average with a lightsaber, but his general knowledge is very impressive.
Atrum is quite talented with the force, and spends a lot of time training that aspect.

It was a dim lighted morning that day among the clad, hard steel building that was of the Jedi Academy . . .

Salusis, Darin, Cobain and Johnnen all arrived at the academy from their said locations. They had just set foot on the lush, green world of Ossus. The hallway they walked was a long, silver hallway which seemed forever to walk among.

They met up and began discussing their species, where they're from and what they plan to fullfill as Jedi . . .

[Kadaj]

"So... The acadamy... Never thought I would make it here... damn shuttle took a bad route through some rough area" *takes a quick glance around, then leans against the wall* "Name's Johnnen... and who would you three be?"

[Darin Saine]

Darin looked around in a sort of half-admiring way. So this was the famed Jedi Academy? It didn't look like much, but then, few things looked as grandiose as the palaces on Coruscant from which he had arrived. Darin shrugged. He'd get used to it. Looking at the other Padawans, he nodded to the one who introduced himself. "Darin Morviro Saine. A pleasure to meet you Johnnen."

Looking about at the rest of the temple, Darin idly speculated as to when they'd start their training.

[Kadaj]

*nods* "likewise, Darin" *playingly beats his fists on the wall*

[Traya]

Salusis gave a quick look around the immediate area, sampling the native architecture. It wasn't entirely promising, if the hallway was any indicator of the general taste of the architects of Ossus; but she presumed that was nothing more than a dull area on a fairly interesting planet. Observing the other three padawans, she decided to introduce herself.

"It's lovely to find you here." She noted warmly, giving a smile to all three of her peers. "Salusis Coriana." She said, bowing deeply and then returning to her former posture.

She stood there, awaiting any responses that she might get from the other padawans. They looked alright enough, despite the shaved hairstyles that all three seemed to share. Her long brown hair seemed to be in an odd contrast with their chosen styles. Deciding to try and initiate some light conversation, she struck up a chord.

"So, what styles do we all use then?" She said, giving them all a short glance. It was often said that one could tell much about another member of the order through their chosen form, and she decided to trust the small piece of dogma.

[Lord Sorgo]

A man with pale skin and a bleach white colored hairstyle slowly walked down the hall with his hands wrapped around his wrists behind his back. He was middle aged, being around thirty years of age. He smiled as his deep brown boots clapped against the sleak steel floor of the bland temple.

He had a Lightsaber hilt on his belt. It had a black tribal design twisting around the silver hilt like a black plague running through a darkened blood stream.

He was wearing traditional beige Jedi Robes and he was a fair sized man, weighing in at about two hundred and twenty five pounds. He was toned and his body was well-shaped when it came to muscular porportion.

"Ah yes, welcome, Padawans!" he said in a medium toned voice.

[Darin Saine]

Darin nodded at the female padawan. He smiled at her question. "Sizing up the competition eh? No matter. I favor the Juyo form overall." Looking up at the adult Jedi approaching them Darin smiled and bowed. "I greet you sir, I am Darin Saine, transferred here from the Temple on Coruscant."

[Lord Sorgo]

"Hmmmm . . ." the Jedi mumbled under his breath as he stood there looking parallel to a statue. He did not move as he gripped both wrists behind his back . . .

"My name is Seraph Tiral. I am a Council Member here on the Ossus Academy. This academy has quite a long and bold history, you know." Seraph explained in a stern voice.

[Darin Saine]

Darin nodded. "I am sure Master Tiral. They tought us much about the Ossus academy's history back on Coruscant. I was truly honored when they transferred me here." The young Padawan's eyes took on a questioning glint, "When will we be taking on a mission Master?"

[Kadaj]

*standing and turning towards Salusis* "Me? Soresu..."*suddenly stands at attention at the sight of the superior and bows* "Greetings, master. It is an honor to be here at the academy. Though I am not as versed in it's history as Daine, I have heard bits and pieces." *addressing Daine's question* "I also wonder, master. When will our first mission be?

[Lord Sorgo]

"Well, the thing about Miss . . ."

Seraph was coldly interrupted when an enormous creature bearing stained ebony armor sliced through a steel wall in the academy. The creature had huge nails that looked razor sharp and were about five inches long each.

The creature had bright blue eyes and a large black cloth over it's mouth. It had to be at least five hundred pounds. It was enormous. He was able to retract his long, piercing nails back into his fingers as he pulled out a large Vibrosword from his back that had a catridge in the middle of the sword filled with green liquid. It was Abldoax Poison from Alzoc III; A rare and deadly poisonous fluid.

It roared and slapped several Jedi around like they were toys. It stood at eight foot even and had pale white skin with naturally imprinted tribal thorns bracing among it's face like the Iridonians. It was a cross breed of Alien species . . . It was an Asani Guardian, servant to the Asani Elites. These rare creatures had their own garrison on Ossus and would attack the temple at least once a month, sending one guardian to attempt to tear the Temple apart. Repairs were perpetual with the temple due to the attacks of the Asani.

"Damn, an Asani. Listen, I need you Padawans to step back. This thing will absolutely carve you into shreds." Seraph spoke as he stepped forward and flung his Lightsaber forward, igniting a vivid Puple blade from the Hilt. He took a stance and awaited the Asani Guardian to stomp over towards him within the dimly lit hallway.

BATTLE SCENARIO APPROACHING

PLAYERS HAVE CHOICES IN THIS CASE

- Stand back and let Master Seraph Tiral take care of the beast.
- Help Master Seraph Tiral destroy the beast.
- Attack Master Seraph Tiral.
- Shove the Master out of the way and take the beast down yourself.
- Attack a random party member.

[Darin Saine]

Darin's reflexes kicked in as he saw the creature attacking the Temple, and his orange lightsaber was ignited immediately. He shifted into a formal Juyo stance, and nodded to Master Tiral signalling that Darin would follow his lead. He was filled with a righteous anger. How dare this creature dephile a Jedi Temple by entereing and attacking Jedi?! Inwardly though, he was shaking in his boots at the sight of the thing swatting down full Jedi Knights with ease, though he tried his best not to let it show past the blade of his lightsaber.

Seraph ran forward and attempted to apply an attack onto the enormous beast but he only got thrown into the nearest wall with extreme force. Seraph immediately threw himself back onto his feet and swung his Lightsaber with intensive force. He created a large cut on the Guardians hand, whom tried to block the attack. The Guardian screeched as he ran towards the Jedi master with his long, poisonous Vibrosword.

[Traya]

Salusis gave a somewhat nervous glance towards the creature, to say the least. Her orange blade ignited in the air; humming to life as she firmly gripped the hilt. Deliberating on what to do, she watched the "drama" unfold before her; her face pressed with frown marks. She could try to hurt the creature, but she had some idea that it would crush her. Yet, she had to do something.

Extending her hand, she felt the force bathe around her outstretched palm; readying itself. She gave a calm smile; it felt good to use the force once more. She closed her eyes, concentrating further. The force grew in her hand, building up pressure until; slam. She unleashed it outwards. Whilst she was in no doubt that her control over the force was raw at best, she hoped to aid Seraph in his battle. She attempted to jerk the long vibrosword slightly, to give Seraph an opening.

[Kadaj]

jumping into action, Johnnen ignites his lightsaber, strikeing at the Asani guardian's torso using [wide slash]

[Darin Saine]

Darin charged forward with the aggressiveness trademarked by his form of choice, attempting to use [Force Speed] to enhance his ability to dodge the massive creature's attacks. As he run he shouted to the other Jedi to charge, attempting to use his natural leadership to inspire them into action. Darin attempted to roll between the massive creature's legs, implementing a [Critical Slash I] in an attempt to slash open the artery on the inner thigh.

TRAYA: Salusis managed to utilize the force in order to wave the Asani's Lightsaber into mixed directions to leave an opening. As she attempted to do so, it was a success and left him open for a brief moment.

KADAJ: Johnnen flies forward and unleashes a wide slash onto the large creature. His attack is blocked and he is decked in the face with the Asani's enormous hand. Johnnen flies back and lands on his buttocks, leaving him slightly injured.

DARIN: Darin's attack is an overwhelming success as he slashes the Guardian's inner thigh, tearing open an artery. A darkened colored red blood sprays into the open as the Asani screechs in pain. The Asani is perpetually bleeding, but is able to keep a tempo on his attacks.

SERAPH CPU: Seraph keeps bay with the creature and forwards himself into a full fledged attack with the enormously sized creature. They battle on.

[Kadaj]

Johnnen quickly rights himself and spits blood from his mouth. "you want it soft, we'll play it soft... you want it hard, we'll play it hard!" Utilizeing [force jump] and [force speed] Johnnen jumps at the wall just behind the Asani, ricoches on it, and lunges full on, aiming a [wide slash] at the back of its neck

[Darin Saine]

Using his new position behind the beast, Darin utilizes [Force Jump] to leap upwards. He was in full battle tempo now, the ebb and flow of adrenaline filling his body. As he leapt, he spun in the air, putting all his body weight into a [Power Bash I] aimed at the back of the creature's head. He lands to the right side of the thing and slightly behind it. He glares upwards at it, his dark eyes blazing with a passion for battle. He had been renowned in the Coruscant Temple as an excellent fighter, one of the best in his age group of Padawans. He bared his teeth at the massive creature and let out a laugh, a release of perfect energy. This is where he belonged.

[Traya]

Salusis looked up at the beast engulfed in combat with her peers. Lightsabre blades swung gracefully in the air, humming like the sound of trickling water. Her orange blade was kept in front of her, but she did not attempt to rush forwards or engage the beast in combat. She had a strange nagging feeling that she could commit later; and aid her fellow Jedi in more subversive ways.

Her eyes flicked upwards, and she saw an orange blade swing in the air behind the Asani, the seemingly impetuous padawan rushing to kill the creature. But, his attack gave her an opportuinity to aid him. She raised her hand in the air like before, but concentrated upon the creature's weapon once more. Releasing the energy at the opportune moment, she tried to coincide her blast with Darin's jumping attack on the creature's head. Hopefully, the beasts weapon would be jerked away once more and make him unable to parry.

TRAYA: To Traya's immediate surprise, the creature embraced the force energy and it seemed to redirect into his avatar. The creature then released a torrent of energy towards the young Padawan, sending her flying into a nearby wall, bruising her back.

KADAJ: Johnnen rebounds off of the hardened steel wall and paces towards the Asani midair. The Guardian creature captures the young padawan and throws him more than twenty feet into the distance of the hallway. Kadaj manages to break his fall on another Jedi bystander and merely slides on the ground for another eight feet.

DARIN: Darin came down behind the creature at excessive speeds. Before Darin could land the attack, the creature turned around and batted his sword at Darin, slamming it against the blunt of Darin's Lightsaber. Darin flew high into the air and fell on the ground, slightly damaging one of his knees.

SERAPH CPU: Seraph watched as the Padawans were shrugged off of the large creature almost as a mere annoyance. Seraph stepped forward and pressed a considerable offense, significantly throwing the Guardian into a defensive stance. Seraph then managed to break past the large creatures defense and slash his chest using his Lightsaber. The creature grows angry and swings his poisonous Vibrosword at the Master. The Master ducks and steps back, going into a defensive position to await his attack.

[Kadaj]

Johnnen regained his composure, thinking to himself "This thing is a damn juggernaut. Perhaps it's time to switch stratigies." He then settled into the defencive stance of his form and waited for an opening.

[Polaski]

Temari, who had up until this point been staying out of the fight, decided that it was time to step in and help.

She knew, however, that she more then likely would not be able to defeat the creature in saber combat, so she would have to use the force.

Temari levitated a piece of debris from the wall, then used the force to hurl it at the Beast's head, hoping to hit him and at least distract so that the other Jedi could have an opening to attack.

[Cobain]

Cobain quickly trotted off of the late arriving shuttle only to see several Jedi engaged in battle with a towering juggernaut. Realizing the situation he quickly ignited his yellow blade and charged the creature, striking it with a [Power Bash I] hoping to give his fellow Jedi time to regroup.

[Lord Sorgo]

The Asani Guardian began to grab his head and scream, freaking out over something not known to the Jedi party. He threw his sword into a Jedi Knight that was standing there. The Jedi Knight tried in great speed to block it with his Lightsaber, but he fumbled and the sword injected into his abdomen and tore out of his back, sending him plummeting to the cold ground where his wound proved to be fatal.

He then exited the temple in the same hole he made to enter. He was gone, but he left his sword.

"I told you Padawans not to get involved. You could've been severely injured." Seraph complained.

[Darin Saine]

Darin stood, favoring his strong knee. "I know Master, but I could not sit by while that...thing defiled the Temple. Besides, we drove it off didn't we?" Darin looked about in confusion. What had happened after he had landed was unclear, though it looked as if the combined attacks of the Jedi had driven it off. He remembered a massive scream, he had blacked out for a few seconds due to the excessive speed at which he had been falling, and when he came to, the creature was gone and his knee was injured.

[Traya]

Salusis gave a raised eyebrow to the master, groaning slightly as she put a hand on her back. Her blade's orange hue flickered and de-activated as it was returned back to her waist.

"With all respect, master." She said, looking at him straight on. "I don't think we could have done anything else."

[Cobain]

Cobain, quickly halting to a stop deactivated his yellow blade and observed his surroundings. He then approached the others. "What was that...thing?"

[Kadaj]

Johnnen slowly lowerd his defences, and with a puzzled stare exclaime "what the hell?" At an earlier time his injured jaw was a mere nucence, but now out of combat the full pain of it was able to take affect. "Crap, that Asani brused my jaw up good. Now I see what you ment, master. I apologise for my rash actions, but like Darin said, at least we drove it off." He then chuckled lowly, "Damn thing probly just remembered it was afraid of Jedi"

[Lord Sorgo]

"Listen to me; You should have stood back. I was handling the situation fine. You could've recieved worse injuries . . . He was beginning to overpower you all! Don't go directly against my orders next time." Master Seraph explained as he unignited his Lightsaber and slipped it into it's rightful place on his utility belt.

Seraph had a slighty irritated look on his face as he peered among the Padawans . . .

[Polaski]

Temari found herself getting irritated. Of all the ungrateful...

"With all due respect Master, a Jedi is not suppsoed to stand back and watch people get killed, if they could help it. If we hadn't stepped in you could have gotten killed, like some of the other... less fortunent ones."

Temaru gestured to the bodies strewn about the floor.

[Lord Sorgo]

"With all due respect, Terami, the party was about to be the newest addition to that Asani's body count. I asked them to step back so I could take the Asani down. They got in my way and now the Guardian has escaped, claiming the lives of some new Padawans and a Jedi Knight. I am your Master. When I tell you to do something, please abide by what I say. You or these Padawans that fought could've been just like the Padawans laying dead now. Remember that. Now the Asani has adapted . . ."

Seraph crossed his arms against his chest and softly let his body lean against the hallway wall as he raised an eyebrow, viewing the scene as Medical Arcs came in and began to escort bodies to a nearby Archiash ground, where Jedis were burnt and their ashes sealed into urns with beautiful decorations lacing them.

"I must investigate this further. The Asani have been throttling their offense more frequently lately. I will leave you with Master Xarian Roaon. He will guide you throughout the temple and then send you into your rooms at the peak of the night."

Seraph pushed his back off of the wall and slowly walked out of the hallway and into the Ossus Academy Hangar.

[Kadaj]

Johnnen was unable to find an argument for that. Asani's were a new thing for him. What the hell were they? "I apologize again master. I will remember your words in my next encouter with the Asani."

[Traya]

Salusis gave a low mutter, "They ought to defend the temple better." She leaned against a wall, giving a slightly bored look.

[Kadaj]

Johnnen chuckled at this statement and muttered "seriously, how'd that thing get in here in the first place?"

[Polaski]

Temari followed the Jedi Master as he left the room with her eyes. Though he had made a valid point, she still thought that their jumping in had been the right thing to do. Better to at least try, as opposed to watching other Jedi get slaughtered while they stepped back.

[Lord Sorgo]

Before Xarian walked among the temple with the students, he stopped dead and turned around, glaring into Trayas eyes.

"You truly have no idea, do you?" Xarian asked in a whispered tone.

"The Guardians are the weakest rank of these unknown and hideously powerful creatures." Xarian said as he smirked and lead them through various rooms.

He showed them the Combat Practice Room, the Built-in Cantina, which served excellent food, the High Council Room, which was off limits, the Library, and the Omniplex, which was a private room for the Jedi only.

He took them to their rooms.

"I'll be back soon. You're free to go whereever you please for now, but be back in an hour." Xarian commented as he left the room.

You could barely see Xarian. You could only hear his cold, brittle voice under the Jedi Hood that covered his entire head and half of his face, only revealing his mouth. It also covered his body. The only thing you could muster was that he was 6'4, a very tall Jedi indeed.

FREE MODE: Go whereever you wish in the temple. If you choose to battle, I will supervise the fight.

[Darin Saine]

Darin nodded. He meant no disrespect to either the Masters or the Asani by underestimating either's strength, he merely wanted to do what was best for the Temple. Once Master Xarian left, Darin made his way back to the combat training room and ignited his lightsaber, hoping to get in some decent practice before the hour was up.

[Polaski]

Temari saw Darin leave, and decided to follow him into the trainig room. She to needed to get some practice in. Seeing that his lightsaber was already ignited, Temari ignited hers as well.

"Do you mind if I could spar with you?"

[Darin Saine]

Darin smiled as the girl entered the room and ignited her saber. He lifted his into the traditional Juyo stance and smiled. "I'm always up for a good spar, though this room may not have energy suppressors on it, so we should probably tone the blade intensity down so we don't kill each other." He smiled a perfect white smile at the subtle joke, he had always been good at bringing out the best, or in some cases of the Coruscant Temple, the worst, in individuals. It was the 'worst' part that he thought the Council had transferred him for, there had been several...incidents with another student, but that was for another time.

[Polaski]

Temari smirked as she lowered her Blade's intensity level and entered a Soresu stance.

"Indeed. It would be most terrible if you were to lose a limb or two."

[Lord Sorgo]

Xarian peered around the corner and lifted one corner of his mouth and leaned his eyebrows downwards, revealing an awkwardly dark facial expression when the two fought.

"Hmm . . ." Xarian muttered as he slowly exited the room.

[Darin Saine]

Darin's face was hard as stone as he surveyed his female opponent. She stood in a Soresu stance, which meant she'd probably try to control his own offensive by routing it and then striking at the opportune moment. That also meant he'd have to counteract that by taking control of his offensive himself, and forcing a hole into her guard.

He leapt forward, orange saber blazing like fire even on the low intensity setting, and aimed a [Critical Slash] at the inside of her right elbow, hoping to catch her off guard, though that was unlikey with a Soresu user. On this intensity, it wouldn't do any major damage, but it would fry the nerve packet there, rendering her right arm useless from the elbow down.

[Kadaj]

Johnnen walked in to the training room just in time to see the two start their sparing and lowly chuckling said "this should be a good match, but whoever wins needs to take me on." Finding a bench against the wall, started intently watching their fight.

[Cobain]

Cobain quietly entered the room and sat on the bench. He then noticed on of the other apprentices sitting next to him. "Hello, I'm Cobain Thul and you would be?"

[Lord Sorgo]

DARIN VS TERAMI

Battle will be initiated tommorow at 2:30PM Pacific.

Two new players will also be entered into the RP Roster tommorow at that same time.

Johnnen replied "Johnnen Tuek, pleasure to meet you. Truthfuly, new people in general interest me. Not many people to talk to when you're trained on a backwater planet." He then interlaced his fingers and put his hands behind his head, lieing back against the wall.

[Polaski]

Darin flew forward, intent upon bringing hell to Terami's elbow. He applied the critical slash, but it was quickly thrown off by Terami's well placed throw off, which left Darin open for attack.


MEANWHILE...

Xarian enters the room in same attire, being a robe covering his whole body except for his lower face and shadowing his eyes. He slowly steps into the room as his boots clap to the hardened ground. He stops dead and lets the right side of his body lean against the wall. He bears a slight grin as he watches the Padawans clash.

[Polaski]

Temari takes advantage of Darin's stumbling past her to aim a [Wide Slash] at his back.

[Darin Saine]

Darin cursed as Terami sidestepped his blow, checking the blade with her saber, then twisting and attempting to slash his back. He pivoted furiously, throwing up a [Block] in an attempt to regain the initiative. His eyes gleamed with an inner fire as the adrenaline began to fill his senses.

Terami positions the Lightsaber close to her as she slinks her body in a diagonal motion to ravage Darin's back, but Darin is too quick and he hastily whips his body around and thrashes his Lightsaber into Terami's blade, nearly disarming her because of throwing his body weight into the turn. Darin cannot catch his footwork and falls onto his back. Terami's wrist is slighty irritated.


MEANWHILE...

Xarian peers at Darin as his eyes begin to convert into a lucid orange.

"Hmm, someone is not Jedi material, I see. I hope he knows rage only has two primary functions. This battle is all too predictable." Xarian mutters to himself in a concealed tone.

[Darin Saine]

Darin's block slammed aside Terami's blade, but throwing his weight into it had thrown him off balance, and he plummeted onto his back. Cursing beneath his breath he rolled to the side, then leapt onto his feet. He could feel Master Xarian watching him, the old Jedi whose hood covered the majority of his face. He smiled. He was at perfect ease with himself, though he may appear on the verge of losing control on the outside.

Darin began circling around his opponent, keeping his blade upright and angled towards her, his shoulders square, eyes scanning for any possible weakness in her guard. Abruptly he leapt forward again, directing a [Critical Slash] at her sword-arm's wrist.

[Traya]

Traya walked into the arena area, watching the unfolding battle commence. Sparkling crackles of energy flew everywhere as the bombastic young man fought his more cautious adversary; flurrying at her with abandon.

"How are you then, master?" She asked Xarian, tilting her head towards him as she stood next to his tall frame.

[Lord Sorgo]

Xarian's head turned almost not even a quarter of an inch and he interrupted Traya's greeting with a prompt question . . .

"Salusis, I have something I want you to do for me." Xarian said in a mild, yet sinister tone.

[Traya]

Traya tilted her head at him, giving him a slightly inquisitive look. Her hand moved towards the wall as she leant against it, her body tilted at an angle.

"What?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "I didn't recall you knowing my name, either."

[Kadaj]

Overhearing Xarian's words, Johnnen thought "Something's wrong with this guy. I don't know why but there is a strange feeling that he is hideing something... something dark... something dangerous..."

A tall and muscular Zabrak walked into the sparring room. He stood at around 6'6, and was noticeably broad shouldered. He first recognized two combatants..one male and one female... dueling. "Padawans" , he thought after analyzing their clothing and hair.

He noticed that the young man was employing a more… aggressive form of dueling. He was baffled as to whether it was Ataru, Juyo, or possibly Shien. It seemed to be a mixture of the former and latter, but until he himself dueled this opponent, he would never be able to tell.

The female was on the defensive. But her counterattacks always had purpose. They were far more precise.

“Soresu,” he thought whilst smiling. “This much is obvious.” This was the style that his master used, and put bluntly, kicked ass with.

He noticed afterwards a blackhaired youth relaxing against the wall. He was a padawan too, just judging by his clothing. He wondered whether or not he should disturb the figure. The padawan was obviously lost in thought. Finally he decided to force a conversation.

"I am Leron Solar." he said, his voice deep and resonant. "You are?"

[Lord Sorgo]

Xarian's lips tilted, forming a half-smile as he slighty grunted with laughter . . .

"I thought you Padawans yearned for tasks outside of this old and frail temple. Besides, the Asani need to be stopped, don't they? Wouldn't you like to assist in this? I mean, you do not want to place shame to the Coriana name, now do you? I'm not threatening you or forcing you to take upon this task, Salusis . . . It's just a one time offer to implant your skills and take care of the Asani once and for all." Xarian said.

Xarian placed his fingertips onto his hood and dragged it down slightly, only revealing his nose and mouth.

Xarian then turned his head in Traya's direction . . .

"In the end, Salusis, all things will work out in the same way . . . No matter which decision you make." Xarian said as he detatched his body from the wall and slowly walked down the hall.

His figure slowly dissipated into the shadows as his tall frame lurked into the night sky that broke into the Temple windows.

Approaching slowly and silently into the combat room, hoping to find some able padawans to test his skills against, Apollo Cloud suddenly froze in fear. Standing at the opposite side of the room was a Zabrak. So fierce and evil a beast, the sight of it struck fear into the heart of Apollo, bringing back memories of old that used to haunt his dreams, the memory of his parents.. and what happened to them, the event that sealed his entry into the order.

Using the force to calm his senses, so as to not appear weak, Apollo crouched down next to a group of padawans, and fixed his eyes on the training duel in the middle of the room. Both of the padawans were highly skilled, especially the male. Such prodigious padawans could prove to be strong competition, Apollo decided that the best action to take, for now, would be to intently survey their skills, spot their strengths, and more importantly, their weaknesses.

[Kadaj]

Johnnen's eyes suddenly refocused and he turned slowly towards the two new padawans entering, "oh... hello... Johnnen Tuek... pleasure to meet you two..." Looking closer to Apollo... he saw fear... a quick flash, but then it was replaced... obviously repressed... but what was he afraid of? Did he feel that same bad feeling Johnnen felt about Xarian?

[Polaski]

Temari gave ground while trying to defend from his attack. She was strictly on the defensive, though in actuality she was secretly using [Domination Surprise] to put her opponent into a false sense of security.

I felt as if I should introduce myself a bit more. Truth be told, this was my first time meeting another Padawan face to face. My previous master had been my only Jedi contact for many years.

"I'm knew to this academy as you can probably tell," I said, trying to be as pleasant as possible. "My master thought it best for me to learn in the company of other padawans." I noticed he was off somewhere else. He was clearly considering something while he was talking with me. Perhaps he did not like me? No, the padawans were always an accepting group.

"Perhaps you could tell me a bit about yourself?" I asked, noticing my comrade a bit distracted. "And for that matter what is so interesting behind me?" I thought to myself.

[Kadaj]

Johnnen refocused on his conversation with Leron, "Well, my initial training was a bit unorthodox. I was originally born on Coroucant, but when my master found me, he took me to Alzoc III to train in solitude. It was a great experience, although I had no contact with anyone except my master for over 10 years. During that time, I forgot almost everything about my childhood. But I do remember how my master found me," he pointed to the scar on his arm,"I was one of those children who was skilled at making others fear me. One day, I decided I would find a Jedi and see if I could scare him. I didn't know how much success I would get. He thought I was an assassin and slashed me up the arm. He took me to a medic, and, after getting fixed up, he asked me if I wanted to be a Jedi. Crazy start; crazy training. The scar never really went away. About 8 months ago, my master told me of this place, and told me that he could no longer teach me, so he was going to send me here for further training." He then rubbed his left arm and putting on an inquisitive look asked Leron, "what about you?

Slipping out of the shadows, Imperator felt that this would be a good time to introduce himself. He walked over to the two padawans that seemed to be talking before and said "hi, I'm Imperator, what are your names?"

I listened intently to Johnnen’s explanation on how he became a Jedi. I was interested in this padawan. Like me, he met his master under questionable circumstances.

“Like you, I found my master before he could find me,”

How could I begin? I wasn’t much of a conversationalist, but diplomacy is sometimes a necessary part of being a Jedi. “It was actually in the woodlands of Deralia, where I first met him. I had just shortly lost my parents to civil strife, and I was forced to make due with what nature offered. I became a hunter, coexisting with the beasts and plants of the land. My master was treading through my home quite noisily; I could hear him from a mile away. I spied on him-and I am ashamed to say- attempted to lead him into an ambush and rob him blind.”

“I was an amateur hunter, and he was a Jedi master…you can imagine how things turned out. Let’s say I was floating in front of him before he even got near the ambush.” I smiled, remembering what had happened. "He was kind about it though; he offered me food, and told me a bit about himself. This man seemed familiar to me… almost as if he walked with a friend that had been with me my whole life. He taught me about the unifying force, and that I was what he was looking for. Next thing I knew, I was not just a regular Zabrak anymore...but a Padawan.”

I smiled at Johhnen. “That’s my story. I suppose I can’t complain. The life of a Jedi has it’s downsides, what with 'there is no passion'… but it was definitely better than Deralia” I sighed. “No other planet is there that is so plagued with baseborn villainy.” I stopped. “Forgive me; I did not intend to ramble.”

I noticed a Jedi that simply walked out of the shadows. It always unnerved me when they did that. He seemed like a pleasant enough man. “I’m Leron Solar. A pleasure to meet you Imperator.”

"Hello Leron, a pleasure to meet you.
How did you end up coming to Ossus? Is your master currently stationed here, or did something happen to him?"

"I was born on Alderaan. I was born to government employees, and as soon as it was discovered that I was force senistive, I was brought to the Temple on Courscant. I ended up learning from many of the masters there, however they felt that I would be better served by the greater resources here on Ossus. Thus, here I am."

[Kadaj]

Johnnen smirked,"huh, Deralia, never been there. From what you said, doesn't sound like a vacation spot." he chuckled lowly, "Never been to Alderan ether. I was wondering when you would come out of the shadows, there. Name's Johnnen, excellent to make your acquaintance"

[Lord Darkstar]

"Nice to meet you Johnnen, my names Imperator."

Smiling slightly as he reminisced, Imperator said, "well, I don't remember Alderaan that much, I moved to Courscant when I was 8. But if you ever visit Alderaan, be sure to visit the Falls and the Plains, they are magnificant. Courscant is nice, but it is incredibly busy and rushed, Alderaan is much more calm. You can loose yourself for hours and never see another person, rare in the Inner Rim."
With that Imperator drifted back slightly into memory.

Jerking back to the present, he realized that he still knew very little of the people he was talking with.

"So, where do you hail from?" He asked Johnnen

[Kadaj]

Answering Imperator's question, Johnnen simply said,"Well, I just came from Alzoc III, but I was origionaly born on Courscant"

[Lord Darkstar]

"Alzoc III, huh, I didn't know that place had a jedi training center. What were you doing there?

[Kadaj]

Johnnen chucled,"You wont ever hear of a temple on Alzoc III because there isn't. My master took me there for private training. He thought contact with civilization would taint my initial training."

[Lord Darkstar]

"Ah, I see." Imperator replied. "Your Master sounds like an interesting man, to take you away from everything for training. Can you tell me a bit more about him?"

[Lord Sorgo]

Darin and Terami were about to go against each other once again.

Suddenly, both Padawans began to float within the air. Their Lightsaber unignited and then flew across the room against the wall.

They then saw Xarian jerk his hand backwards and the two Padawans came towards him in mid air at excessive speeds.

"Tsk tsk . . . You two have the same skill level at the moment. The fight is going nowhere. That should have been obvious. The funny thing is; You two are the same, yet you're so different . . . " Xarian said in a mysterious tone.

Xarian then slowly put his wrist down and the two Padawans feet landed softly onto the ground. Xarian dragged their Lightsabers back under their feet.

The Jedi Master then laughed, and walked away. He suddenly stopped and began to yell in front of the Padawans Quarters.

"Come with me, Padawans! All of you! I have a mission for you..."

Slightly shocked at how the master treated the other two jedi, Imperator followed nervously. He was unsure about this jedi, though the power he commanded was obvious.

However, when Imperator heard about a mission, his misgivings gave way to excitement, he was going on a real mission!

"What will this mission be master?" He asked.

[Polaski]

Temari was outraged.

"How dare you. I oughta-"

Temari cut herself off, she had to keep her emotions in check. She couldn't afford another accident like last time...

"I'm sorry for my outburst, Master..." She said, then used the force to grab her lightsaber and attach it to her belt and followed him.

[Darin Saine]

Darin's eyes ignited in pure fury. How dare this outsider interfere with his training, Jedi Master or not? The man arrogantly pulled Darin's lightsaber to him, then strode down the hall, calling for the Padawans to follow him, claiming a mission. Darin strode after him, struggling to contain the boiling emotions within. When they came to a halt, Darin relieved the Master of his lightsaber. "I think it will be rather difficult to take a mission without a proper weapon, Master"

Even at the sudden change of events, Johnnen just turned and chuckled, knowing that if he said anything about his suspicions, it may alert Xarian... if he had some other dark purpouse... Johnnen had always had a nack for that... Maybe those years without contact really paid off... all that silence... Staying in step with Xarian, he then stated, "Whats the assignment, master?"

Completely shocked at how the jedi master had just treated the two padawans, Apollo was completely speechless. That kind of behaviour from a jedi master was uncanny, and ringing with the dark side. Perhaps there was more to this mysterious jedi master than what was originally displayed.

But after hearing that they were going on their first mission, Apollo was overcome with excitement. At last, a chance for him to show off his uncanny prodigious skills. He couldn't wait.

However, his excitement suddenly turned to animosity when he noticed that the Zabrak was joining them on their mission. Making a mental note to steer clear of the Zabrak at all times, so as not to compromise their mission, Apollo followed the other padawans.

Distracted from the conversation with his fellow padawans, the Jedi padawan Leron caught a glimpse of their "master." There seemed to be something about his voice, the manner he carried himself, and the way he treated his padawans that did not befit someone of his standing. Nevertheless he was the master, and Leron was still a padawan. He caught up to Imperator and Johnnen, curious as to the details of the mission, and who this master really was...

He caught a glimpse of a new face. Another padawan. Not one of the two who were dueling in the arena...but someone else. Leron thought about introducing himself, but decided that perhaps later would be a better time.

[Lord Sorgo]

"Good, you're all rather happy to begin attempting the accomplishment of missions... But you all seem rather 'upset' that I am taking you. Your senses can fool you, but I guarentee, your basic instincts will fail you first." Xarian said in an extremely vague and mustered tone.

Xarian slowly reached onto his utility belt and wrapped his fingers around a datapad. He brought it up towards his face and began reading . . .

"Ooooooh! This ought to be overly interesting, students." Xarian said loudly.

[Lord Darkstar]

Now Imperator was starting to wonder slightly about the sanity of this master, but regardless, he was a master and had to be obeyed.

"What is it master?" He asked.

[Kadaj]

At this point, Johnnen was compleatly confused as to Xarian's motives, but he did want to start his first mission, so he simply answered "what's the assignment?"

[Polaski]

Temari stood at attention with her arms crossed and a glare on her face. She was still pissed.

Pondering over the words of his master, Apollo patiently waited to hear what their assignment was.

Leron raised an eyebrow at the master's precarious tone. He crossed his arms. This should be interesting.

[Lord Sorgo]

"Hmm . . . There has been a change of plans. Go to your quarters for the remander of the night. I will wake you up at the edge of dawn and brief you. You will all be transported on the same ship into Alderaan, where I will give you more details regarding this upcoming mission." Xarian said in a bold tone so all could hear.

Xarian placed the datapad back onto his utility belt and slowly dissapeared into the shadows.

The Padawans proceeded to their quarters. It was one large room that housed all eight of the Padawans together.

'What the hell!?' thought Apollo.
'Would this indecisive jedi master ever make up his mind?'


Deciding to say nothing, Apollo began to walk back to his quarters with the rest of the padawans.

But once arriving at the quarters, and realising that all 8 of them were sharing quarters, and he was gonna be sleeping in the same room as the Zabrak... This was getting too much for Apollo.

Slightly pleased to be returning to the planet of his birth, Imperator was still growing annoyed with this masters ways.

Silently he walked to his quarters

The padawans were waken by the yelling of Master Seraph Tiral, who had returned from his trip.

"Hello Padawans! I will be taking you to Alderaan. Master Xarian has apparently dissapeared. He was around the temple last night but reports say he vanished at the crack of midnight yesterday. We have search parties looking for him . . . But hey, the mission must go on! Get up and prepare yourself. I'll be back in twenty minutes." Seraph said in a hearty, bold tone.

Curious as to what might have happened to Xarian, Imperator started to get ready for the mission.

He wondered what could have been able to take a full jedi master, or could it be that Xarian left on his own free will?

[Polaski]

Temari yawned and put up her hair into the usual pigtails. She changed into her Jedi Robes, and made sure to atatch her Lightsaber to her belt.

After she was done getting ready, Temari leaned against the wall, arms crossed, and waited for the others to finish. She was still slightly peeved from the day before, but was feeling better.

Apollo really started to have doubts about the jedi master; his mysterious nature, his coldness towards the padawans, his uncharacteristic jedi behaviour, his abusive use of the force towards his padawans, and now his disappearance. The more Apollo thought about it, the more it seemed to him that Xarian had turned to the darkside.

However deciding that it was best to think about the mission at hand, he cleared his mind of his doubts about Xarian, and pondered over the little information that Xarian had given. Their mission was taking them to Alderaan, the 'Shining Star' of the core worlds, arguably the most beautiful planet in the entire galaxy. The Alderaanian culture valued education, the performing and fine arts, the beauty of their land, and peaceful resolutions to conflicts. Famous for its cuisine, Apollo couldn't wait to try some of the famous Steamed Alderaanian spiced wine. However what really intrigued Apollo about Alderaan were the Thranta, and it was one of his personal dreams to hop on the back of one of them, and ride through the open skies.

Johnnen prepared his gear, first putting on his Jedi Robes, then his Gauntlets, and started doing some pre-combat stretches. He then attached his lightsaber to his belt and cracked his knuckles, one at a time. "Well, lets kick the tires and light the fires."

Leron stood up and stretched his muscles. So, Master Xarian is gone, hm?What a strange person, truly.

He recognized his comrades around him and his eyes caught the appearance of a new one. He thought he heard one of the padawan's mention his name. Apollo was it?

"It's a pity I couldn't properly introduce myself earlier," the Zabrak said, smiling at the Padawan. "The name's Leron, if you haven't heard." He bowed.

"You are?"
