How the hell are you supposed to kill Alucard?

Alucard wins.

I haven't really gotten far in the comics. I was assuming he had some weakness not advertised in the anime.

He's able to regenerate from a pool of blood. I don't see how Yoda or Sidious are supposed to be able to kill him.

Meanwhile, Sidious or Yoda are technically "dead" (albeit ghosts) if they get shot through the head.

That power was utterly ridiculous - I forgot about that little detail.

if they get shot through the head.

Or if they get it "doggystyle," if you know what I mean...

Can't Alucard technically die if impaled through the heart?

Walter said that'd kill him...

I think Incognito actually tried that (reflecting blessed bullets). When he went into his next limit release, he basically reanimated himself.

Alucard is the kind of guy that could be smeered into paste on the floor and still be taunting you. He's been stabbed in the chest like fifty times with holy Vatican blades, exploded into itty bitty pieces, and literally beaten to a bloody pulp... And he still hasn't been put down yet. It seems like nothing short of utter vaporization can take him down.

Also, couldn't force lightning do serious damage, considering it evaporates blood?

And the Hellsing anime= firmly non canon

I must be the only person who hasn't read this Hellsing stuff. Can't say it appeals to me, considering how incredibly goofy looking Alucard is, and how munchkin like his powers are. And then there's that whole thing where he sounds like a sneaky rip off of D and Castlevania's Alucard.

I think the blood itself is more imagery than anything else.

Alucard's regeneration is inconsistent. There are times when he reanimates himself through some strange darkness whilst there's still a shitload of his blood on the ground. I was thinking that lightning could do something, but then again, it's possible that all the molecules themselves could realign themselves through some strange dark magic. There's never been an instance where's Alucard's reincarnation didn't work - it's basically all speculation.

What I don't get is the strange power of his that lets him turn part of his body into a mass of shadows that utterly consumes every thing in it's path. Where the hell does all that matter he gulps down go?

In the manga, he neeeds blood. If it's gone, Alucard dies for good

It's also worth noting Alucard has yet to face an enemy of any significance whatsoever...the one time he did-the ONE time- he needed Seras to save him

What I don't get is the strange power of his that lets him turn part of his body into a mass of shadows that utterly consumes every thing in it's path. Where the hell does all that matter he gulps down go?
He keeps the souls of those he consumes inside him-it's what grants him such powerful life

I really doubt either of these guys are equipt to kill Alucard or could ever be.
